PEOPLE

Brian Glenn Bryson is an artist, educator, entrepreneur, and community builder based in Sonoma County, California. For more than two decades, he created ambitious theatre projects with young people—bringing together artists, craftspeople, farmers, builders, and other local mentors to help students develop real skills, meaningful relationships, and a deeper connection to the land, their community, and themselves.

As the founder and artistic director of Broken Theatre, formerly Walking Elephant Theatre, Brian built experiences that were part theatre company, part school, part workshop, and part community gathering place.

Today, he is applying that same creative, hands-on approach to a growing portfolio of small businesses and practical experiments. His ventures range from hauling and delivery to buyer advocacy, business development, and storytelling.

Brian is also the father of Gavin, his most important collaborator and the reason behind much of what he builds.

AROUND THE WORK

Broken Theatre grows through relationships: young people, families, artists, craftspeople, farmers, builders, and local mentors learning from one another. Gavin remains part of that community and creative life.
